Ugly Shoe of The Month : Miu Miu Plastic Rain Bootie

November 2014 Issue

I don't even know where should I start to rant about this fugly rain plastic bootie by Miu Miu. I hate the see-through plastic look, which you can clearly see the vapour coming out of your feet. That is definitely not flattering to the eye.

Other than the unflattering feet steam, the fit of the shoe is also horrible. The length of the bootie is awfully odd, cutting your ankle in a very unfortunate way, and the width will surely make your feet look like a swollen elephant foot.

And please, don't even get me started on trashtalking about the pink color of the top part of the plastic bootie. The color reminds me of a cheap barbie shocking pink. Or used condoms. I don't know which one is worse. *shudder

Sadly, this piece of bootie (pun intended) is also available in other dreadful colors. Don't believe me? See it for yourself :

Eeeekk..!! This color reminds so much of a industrial garbage disposal plastic bags.

Buuuuut there's one thing that I do like. The quirky screw heel could be a potential showstopper, if only combined with a subtle shoe design. Like this one for example :

This wedge sandal actually reminds me of one of McQueens creation from the Plato's Atlantis Spring/Summer 2010 collection. It's quite unique yet wearable at the same time. If only the whole collection would look like this..

You know this shoe will definitely rain on your parade..

Cat Talks and Catwalks : Christian Siriano S/S 2015

I've always known that Christian Siriano is a brilliant designer, but to be honest, I've never seen his shoe collection. At least until recently, since he posted a lot of pics of his designs for S/S 2015 collection on instagram and facebook.

Sadly it's all in black and white filter so I could not enjoy it 100%. Well, not until he released more stuff on his facebook page.

Aren't they all so gorgeous and eye catching?

According to style.com, the collection was inspired by the multidimensional glass sculptures of Australian artist Sergio Redegalli. This inspiration led Siriano to experiment with transparency in his collection. As you can clearly see on his shoe collection, everything looks sculptured and icy embellished, if that makes sense.

If you wanna see the full show, here it is :

You know that some of these foot candies will be in your collection soon..

Ugly Shoe of The Month : Nike + Riccardo Tisci Air Force 1 High-Top Sneakers

October 2014 Issue

There are so many wrong things about this shoe. Since I have some spare time, let me spill it to you five reasons why I loathe it so much.

1. I don't like flat shoes. I told you this already a thousand times. It's just not flattering for women.

2. I don't like this trend of combining high-end look with sporty shoes. Never have, never will.

3. The white bottom part that doesn't go together with the black top part. It's like they combined 2 ugly shoes together to create an uglier one, if it's possible. (*It's also available in black, but just as ugly. You can see it here.)

4. This damn thing cost 340€. The same amount of money for a nice flat shoe from Nicholas Kirkwood, or a satin espadrille from Christian Louboutin, or or or..

5. It'll make your legs look like a walking neon sign. Not even in an awesome statement shoe kind of way. Even a nice, understated Proenza Schouler satchel cannot save you :

This shoe is not acceptable in any occasion. Either you're a japanese schoolgirl, an electro-techno junkie, or even just plain weird. It's a definite no-no.

You know you will stay away from this shoe..

Kisses,
